Free 15 minute Consultation- REQUIRED TO START THERAPY
If you wish to become a client at Maternal Health Niagara, please book a free 15-minute consultation with Emily Pollak, Clinic Owner.
The Initial Consultation is a FREE 15-minute welcome phone call.
During the consultation, we will discuss the following:
* Goals for therapy
* Preference for in-person vs. virtual
* Availability for sessions (Days/ Times)
* Payments/ Extended Benefits (*coverage for Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist)
* Previous therapy experiences
* Qualities you are seeking in a therapist
* Answer any questions
* Book your session
* Review Jane App and Paperwork
Emily will discuss with you who may be a therapuetic fit to meet your needs from the consultation. At that time, you can book an INTAKE appointment with the therapist, which is 50 minutes, or if you prefer, you can have a free consultation with the suggested therapist.
Maternal Health Niagara has an open-door policy regarding Therapuetic FIT, and we are committed to ensuring you feel connected to your therapist. If it's not the right fit, we will work together to find someone who is.

Registered Psychotherapist & RP (Qualifying)
RATES FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY, INCLUDING HST:
$150 Individual; $175 couples for 60 minute sessions
(50 minutes direct client minutes, 10 minutes administrative)
**Registered Psychotherapists charge HST for their services.
* Krista & Tracy receive clinical supervision by an MSW; please note that you may be able to submit under benefits MSW services.
Supervised Interns- by MSW
Emily Pollak, MSW, the clinical director provides clinical supervision to interns from the Laurier MSW program and Yorkville University Masters in Counselling Psychology.
All clinical services provided by interns are billed as MSW services.
